Art, theft and restitution - The porcelain collection of the von Klemperer family in Dresden

In 1939, one of the largest collections of Meissen porcelain in private ownership - that of the von Klemperer banking family - was confiscated by the National Socialists. On Museum Night, the Porcelain Collection would like to commemorate the tragic fate of the collection during the devastating night of bombing on 13/14 February 1945 and present one of the earliest restitutions of the Dresden State Art Collections after 1990.
