Political education and provenance research under cultural-political pressure. Saxony-Anhalt as a precedent for federal policy?

The event focuses on actors from Saxony-Anhalt: how have provenance research and civic education been working under the cultural policy conditions of recent years? What developments and political attacks are both fields exposed to? Dr Anette Müller-Spreitz, responsible for the provenance research coordination office at the Museumsverband Sachsen-Anhalt e. V., and Maik Reichel, head of the Landeszentrale für politische Bildung, provide insights into their areas of work and existing forms of cooperation. In conversation with Prof. Dr Regina Bittner, head of the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation Academy, they discuss the cultural policy situation before and after the election, proven strategies for self-assertion and potential alliances.
