Invisible Stories in the Museum – How are provenances, object histories, and the associated life stories made visible in the exhibition space?

How provenances can be communicated in the museum and previously invisible stories made visible is the theme of this event. How can provenance research be part of a permanent exhibition and other exhibition projects? How can hidden collection histories be made accessible to visitors? Mathilde Heitmann-Taillefer, Curator for Research, Scientific Cooperations and Provenance Research at the Museum Folkwang, and the project team of „Making Visible - Traces of Jewish Engagement in the MdbK“ at the Museum der Bildenden Künste Leipzig: Dr Ulrike Saß, Sharon Adler and Shlomit Lehavi, will be discussing these questions.
