What was the National Socialist art theft? How does provenance research work? And how does restitution come about? In this course, students learn the basics of provenance research based on the biography of the von Klemperer family from Dresden. Historical sources such as letters, object catalogues and autobiographical notes will be used.

This course can be booked either as a double lesson (1.5 hours) or as a project day (4 hours).
