How can the intertwined histories of colonialism and National Socialism be conveyed - and what role does provenance research and restitution play in this?
The event sheds light on the interfaces between colonial and Nazi history and shows how provenance research can contribute to making entangled memories visible. Patrick Helber from the collaborative project „Entangled Memories“ with a focus on multi-perspective educational work. Here, too, we will try to discuss the other topics together, in particular provenance research with the example from practice. We will also look at the four dates together and try to find guidelines and boundaries for further mediation practice
Discussion series for specialist audiences / multipliers
The discourse series builds on the content of the working group and presents current findings from research and science on provenance research as well as cultural and historical-political education. By bringing together different disciplines, a transdisciplinary approach is created that specifically opens up space for discussions on synergies between these areas.
